Odd files appearing in C: drive of win 7 machines

I've just done some work on 10 laptops, about half of them have these files in the c drive..

 

Anyone got any ideas?

 

WritePad_ColUK.cwl

WritePad_StatUK.lrn

 

My guess is theya re some support files from a programme, but odd to see them appearing in the C drive root??

Not sure how they're on the windows 7 machines but the file types seem to be related to MACs in some way:

 

File extension: CWL

File type: ClarisWorks Library

ExamsWritePad? That defaults to saving files in the root of C:\

Now where the emoji for 'puzzled am I' - When there's a gap I'll have a better look - I'll check kaspersky is happy with it..
