I've just upgraded GCDS from v4.4.26 to the current latest, v4.6.1.

In our config, we have a Google Domain exclusion rule to ignore a group that exists in the Google domain but not in AD. The sync simulation keeps displaying the group as being in line for deletion, so the exclusion rule doesn't appear to be matching. The same config in v4.4.26 worked fine, it correctly ignored that group and didn't attempt to delete it.

The exclusion rule options used to be either against the group name or the group email address, but now there's only the option to pick "Group Email Address" from the dropdown, which when used shows in the created rule as "GROUP_NAME". I can't seem to get it to match (using either an exact match or substring match).

Is anyone else having this issue?

LDAP exclusion rules seem to work okay, it's just the Google domain exclusion rules.

Annoyingly, I don't appear to have kept the v4.4.26 installer, so I'm seemingly stuck with what looks like a bug unless anyone can steer me towards a copy of it.

Think I found a solution. Find an installed 4.5.7, and copy to the server. Find a backup of the xml file, from before upgrade... And now the exclusion rules work ...

Thanks for this, I was going crazy wondering what I'd done wrong when it used to work just fine before.

Glad I did a simulated sync first and spotted it was about to delete a bunch of groups! On 4.6.1 too. Fingers crossed for a patch soon?
