JATSO Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Hi All, We use KM PCopiers in a Windows Domain environment, I have been asked to implement Secure Print for all staff, we don't have papercut and they wont buy it is there a way to force it on staff via GPO or in the case of their laptops setting it up within the driver settings as default? Anyone had to do this and willing to share? Thanks
sted Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 yes you will have to create usernames/numbers on the copier and just change the options on the print drivers to make a code teh default (though i dont think you can force that as such but iirc you can make the printer jsut reject anything without a code) just be aware if anyone prints from edge/ms pdf reader/any modern app once you have a code on your printer odds are if tehy send a job from a modern app to the printer it will jam the queue up until an admin restarts the print spooler serveice
