CHiLL Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Anyone got this message when trying to install something from the Store? Yes, I'm getting that too. I thought it was something I'd done! I modified our WIMs to remove certain features (though did leave the relevant store bits in). Since we never use the store and today was the first time in months, I thought it was because I'd removed something I shouldn't have! Glad it's not just me.
CHiLL Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Turns out for me, it was a GPO setting that was killing it. Because we use SCCM for our Windows Updates, we had the following GPO setting enabled: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Do not connect to any Windows Update Internet locations = Enabled Setting this to 'Not Configured' and running GP Update on my machine instantly allowed the store to download the Netflix app from the store. I don't know what this would mean for our normal Windows Updates, as we only want updates to be obtained from SCCM.
gshaw Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 FYI Netflix isn't suitable for edu use last time we checked...
