Koldov Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 One of our admin ladies who creates all the posters and labels, has complained that the new Bing image search for clipart isn't working. Sure enough she gets an 'Ooops something went wrong' message. I thought something may be filtered out, but she is sure it worked a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, I ran a report and there are a few MS Office URL's being blocked. However, I get the same error message and I am not filtered and (running the same report for my PC) the URL's that were blocked from her PC aren't blocked on mine. Interestingly enough I got the 'no templates available' warning on starting up Word, so again I thought something was blocked, but found out that this is because I had logged on an account (logging out brought them back - but lost all recent history etc). This is bizarre because I have never 'logged on to MS Office' and it was using my domain name not an MS account name... Now if I go to sign-in again it is asking me for the email address or phone number of the account I would like to use! Anyway, I don't really care about that, main issue is Clipart searching.
tmoon-mint Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 Open internet options and go to advanced. Under security make sure "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" is not ticked. Try again and online pictures should load correctly. 2
Koldov Posted October 10, 2018 Author Posted October 10, 2018 Thanks that worked for my machine, but it is not ticked on the admin users machine - so maybe it is filtering related after all.... Not sure why I had that ticked (probably to fix something else I had a problem with a long time ago).
Koldov Posted October 10, 2018 Author Posted October 10, 2018 Yes, it was filtering. Our provider had blocked a URL (https://hubble.officeapps.live.com) in the catagory of Web Email. Once I allowed it through the pictures displayed!
