E_G_R2 Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Hi, I need to delete a profile but the 'delete' button is greyed out in control panel -> User Accounts -> Configure advanced user profile Am I right in guessing that I can delete the user profile folders on the server and then remove the user sub key entry from this registry location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList Just want to be sure to do this right
Garacesh Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Should be! Those 2 steps are all I do when I'm deleting a profile off a machine if it starts playing funny, it always recreates properly, no username.000 etc. 1
AJWhite1970 Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 (edited) Delprof2 can also remove them, and if you wanted to enable the grey box, then a little utility called Windows Enabler will make magic happen DelProf2.exe /id:ACCOUNT_NAME Edited October 5, 2018 by AJWhite1970 1
