caffrey Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 (edited) Anyone having flash issues with the latest version of chrome ? I have the correct GPO policy settings added (Allow the flash plugin on these sites https://* and http://* and the default flash setting set to Allow all sites I've updated to the latest templates When loading a site with flash I get a "This plugin is not supported" message yet the flash setting says allowed by your administrator Sometimes the site will randomly work In content settings under chrome the sites are listed, so the policy has applied, but weird how it says ask first Might be just that site ?? ITGuyNW Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Chrome 69 changes how it acts towards Flash. I assume they haven't updated GPO settings to coincide? or it even ignores the GPO? https://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/3061489/chrome-69-will-rollout-new-design-whilst-borking-flash-even-further 1
caffrey Posted September 18, 2018 Author Posted September 18, 2018 Thanks for that, I can pass that info on too I've put the latest templates on, MAJOR=69 MINOR=0 BUILD=3497 PATCH=100 I think they came out the other day, still not working
BJC Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 Might be a completely different problem if yours works sometimes but do you have redirected app data? I found it didn't like working from it. Only way I got it working was to install pepper flash on the computer. It either takes precedence over the app data one or must try the app data one and then revert to the local version.
