RDP Screen Freezes, chucks me out

Hello All

 

This is a server on a Hyper V host. I can access the server via the host by clicking the connect button and changing it that way but as soon as I connect to it directly it will respond for around 20 seconds and then won't do anything. It will eventually chuck me out if I keep clicking icons and things.

 

Any ideas? I've checked the event viewer and nothing that I can see in there!!
