Hybrid Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 Have any of you experienced a random swap in mouse buttons at all? We've had a good few of our staff noticing that the mouse buttons swap over at random times during the day. To combat it, I've added a registry entry into a GPO to update a flag entry each time. When it happens staff then log off and back on again to have the fix take effect. What I can't understand though is how it's actually happening in the first place. Any ideas?
DCUK6 Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 Use to get it occasionally in windows 7 and 10 when playing heavy clicky games. Not had it in work yet tho so never looked into it.

We've seen it quite a bit now and it's becoming a massive pain in the butt. The thing is though, users can't even get into the CP to actually enable it so I was working if there was a shortcut key or similar to swap them. One of our teachers claims it happens when they lock their machine, then return to a swapped button config. Odd.
