Just wondering what people are using to backup data on G-Suite or Office 365 OneDrive and SharePoint. I've been asked to look at backup solutions as we are moving more and more data to the cloud. We currently use Veeam to backup data locally, but Veeam will only backup OneDrive and we are using Google as well.

We're using Insync to sync drives between local storage and Google Drive:

That's not a backup as such, but it gives you a local drive you can backup from. Also, in case of Google Drive issues, you also have a local copy of your files, and you can share the drive to users so you can have synced local/remote drives.

You could also use rclone in a similar manner to give you a local copy of your files - it now supports Team Drives, and is free.

We use Spanning Backup which also backs up Team Drives, Google Drive, email, Sites, Calendar etc. Its very cheap for unlimited storage :0)

If you are a school ignore the initial quote and ask for the educational discounts.

BTW we only backup the staff accounts.

I tested a good few different products before going with the above.

Thanks, I'll have a look at Spanning backup. Did you look at Cloudally or Veritas when you were evaluating different products? We currently use Veeam for our on-site backups, but this only backs up Office 365.

Thanks. I'll have a look at them both. Sorry, mentioned Veritas above, meant to say Arcserve UDP. Their solution includes an appliance that links all your physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure together to provide a single unified solution. I suspect this may be expensive. Anyone got any experience of Arcserve?
