£210k for damages (BBC has to pay £137k)

£315k to South Yorkshire police for legal costs

 

That's over £1 million of yours and my money and that is without their legal costs. More will be chewed in in the forthcoming appeal. I guess this means even more repeats on the BBC and even less police on the beat.

Ouch, worse than I thought. Still at least the BBC doesn't need to worry - they will be able to extract/extort it from the public regardless
