lmrogers Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 Morning, I'm looking at deploying osTicket. It looks good and have seen some good recommendations. Got a couple of questions though if anyone has the answers. Can you force HTTPS? Can you integrate with AD and enable SSO? Cheers
computer_expert Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 HTTPS is handled by the webserver (apache in my case) rather than osTicket, so that is where you would need to set up the HTTP>HTTPS redirect. You can do SSO but depending on your level of experience with kerberos/linux it could be rather challenging (I had to turn on and look at the verbose debugging logs to get it working here...). I don't use osTicket/apache on windows so cannot comment on how easy it is to set up on windows.
synaesthesia Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 We do use it heavily and we love it. No doubt SSO is doable but helpdesk use is SO much better when people just email tickets. People don't like filling in forms full of things they don't understand.
