recycle bin and shared folders, pupil quotas

I had a pupil today who was over their quota limit but I couldn't find any large files. I did however now find out that their recycle bin (recycle file?!) was full and they couldn't empty it (as in no mechanisim). I have now recycled on the server but have I made a setup mistake with the pupil folders?

Well if you have recycle bins on you either need them to clear it, or do manual cleans every now and then.

 

But when you say they can't do it how do you mean as it shouldn't stop them clearing it unless you've removed the icon too?

ok, so I have "remove all items from the desktop" set in GPO for pupils. How do I get them a recycle bin?
