Zoom7000 Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 I have several PCs where the Windows Audio Service disables itself at random intervals (usually after several weeks). The fix is simply re-enabling the service, but this can only be done by the administrator. Does anyone have any idea why this might be disabling itself on random PCs?
6Foot2 Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 (edited) Don't know why it would be happening, but you might like to create a GPO to enable sound services: In Group Policy Editor: Computer Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Security Settings\System Services\Windows Audio Select 'Automatic' Edited July 11, 2018 by 6Foot2 Remove a typo. 1
