Private Nursery filtering requirements

Does anyone know the legal requirements for internet filtering at a private nursery?

My initial thoughts are the same as any other education establishment, due to Ofsted edicts.

I think your thoughts are right and it's the same as any private school - it's there to protect and safeguard children. Your lawful bases will be either public service (protecting children) or legitimate interest (you have a legitimate interest to protect your children). The only difference would be as a private nursery you could rely on legitimate interest should you want to.

Exactly the same as any other school or nursery. You must abide by KCSIE - see this where Kent’s eSafety officer has gone through it with a fine tooth comb
