Exchange 2013 and Hybrid Office 365 setup - removal

I recently setup Exchange 2013 and Office 365 as a Hybrid setup so I could slowly migrate users from on-premise to 365.

 

Today I move the last of my users over to 365 and before I remove the Hybrid config and shutdown on-premise server I thought I would ask the following question:

 

 

Should I remove the hybrid config and shutdown my on-premise exchange box or should I leave them as they are for now?

Essentially you have to at least retain an on premises exchange server to manage the objects where the source of authority is your AD, but you can remove the hybrid configuration. Using exchange for management is the only supported method at the moment I believe (As long as the exchange server does not have any mailboxes on it, there is a free license available for it).
