Office 2016 Pro Plus or Office 365 Install on Student Build/Image

Microsoft have now discontinued Office Mix and have actually closed down that part of their website. Microsoft havent gotten rid of it completely, they've put most of the features in to Office 365 but not in to the enterprise versions of their software such as Office Pro Plus 2016.

Can you download and install the Office 365 version of office on to a student computer image and deploy it across the student computers? If so, where do you download it from and do the students then have to log in each times and what happens if our internet connection happens to be slow or down?

Well the instructions on how to install Office 365 on machines I've found don't talk about capturing an image with it, but I guess you could follow it...

… and could install it onto a single machine that you want to make an image of, and then deactivate it before capturing it...

… then just run the command as part of the build process to activate Office on that machine from the installer location.

Are you licensed for 365 CTR? The included licenses in Office365 do not allow installation on school-owned devices - you need to buy it on your volume licensing agreement
