Hi,

I'm trying to do a hard drive partition, but was only able to do a 16gbs partition, on the C drive it says they is still 157gbs free of 220gb, but i can make the 17gbs partition any bigger, is they a reason for this? Thanks.

Yes, because there is no space for a partition to be made; the only way to do it is to shrink the C: partition first, you may need a 3rd party tool to do that such as Partition Magic.

Or use the built in shrink that's been there for a number of editions of Windows server

Or this ;) Couldn't for the life of me remember if that was available for system/boot partitions :D
