Google DNS Down?

Cant contact 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

 

Just swapped all my DNS forwarders over to another DNS and all ok.

 

Anyone else seeing the same?

Looks like an ISP routing issue with a centralised firewall then, will give them a call.

 

EDIT - Just in case anyone else experiences similar, ISP is Exponential-E. Call logged.

Was a bit iffy for me at lunchtime too (40%ish packet loss, but I do know google filter/block pings when the service is under a lot of load) but with a different ISP

Issue resolved overnight.

 

Looks to be a routing issue with one of Exponential-E's core routers/firewalls.
