TechMonkey Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 Just wondering if anyone is using, or has come across, ordering systems that will tie in to supplier(s) where by staff could order but it be held until a nominated person authorises. Or any other workflow, but essential staff can pick items that have been imported automatically and someone collates and orders. The idea has been floated that they want a supplier to give them a catalogue or spreadsheet with all the items and it could be made public so staff can copy and paste the order codes into an online form. It just struck me that with a supplier API someone might have all ready made something like this, rather than someone (probably IT) having to do lots of set up everytime a new catalogue is released.
