Hoping to summon Webman! =)

 

Got the install done, trying to add rooms, says "the upload destination folder does not appear to be writeable"

Not sure where the folder in question is, I don't see a "rooms" subfolder to chmod appropriately.

Hi!

 

This problem has come up before, and from what I remember, there are two ways it's usually solved:

 

1) Try uploading a photo, if you weren't before. Even if you don't upload one, it seems to check the folder for room images is writable.

2) Make sure all the folders for uploads exist, and have writable permissions for the web server.

 

webroot/images/roomphotos/temp
webroot/images/roomphotos/160
webroot/images/roomphotos/320
webroot/images/roomphotos/640

 

It should make these itself, but if it fails, then that could prevent it from uploading.

Got it! I had permissions on these folders for 775 and didn't work. I had to make them 777, was able to make rooms without adding pictures. Thanks! Looking forward to introducing this to the staff. They aren't fans of the existing system, Sagenda. Thanks again!
