talksr Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Hi there, I have the following policy set up for enabling Remote Desktop Connection on my Windows 10 and 7 systems. I recently updated the central store with the new group policy templates for Windows 10 1803. I have noticed that new systems I connect to the domain, whilst having RDP enabled, seem to have the following box ticked. Is there any way I can get around this? Secondly, since updating my central store, I am noticing the following in the policy it's self...see under Administrative Templates: Does anyone have any ideas as to what this means? It was fine before I updated the admx templates.
smarties11 Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 You really should keep this box ticked to be honest. NLA asks for the credentials before the RDP session connects and is more secure. Has been supported on all OS's since Vista/Server 2008 IIRC 1
Koldov Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 I see the ADMX quoted is the WinStoreUI. Is that the classic one that needs to be renamed every time? If so, fallen foul of it myself: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-10/181833-admx-issues.html Also I agree about the NLA. Also.... I haven't got that part enabled in my RDP GPO (Local Policies/User Rights Assignment)... Do I need that? Why is the 'everyone' group in there? 1
