Full time Assistant Network Manager

36 hours/week (pattern of work to be agreed)

 

Pay Scale SP7 - £24,642 - £28,590 p.a.

 

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Assistant Network Manager responsible for support, management and maintenance of the Fullbrook IT network. Reporting to the Network Manager, the role will have specific responsibility:

 

· Wireless network maintenance

 

· Working with the Network Manager on network maintenance and cabling supervision

 

· Liaising with the site team with regard to CCTV systems

 

· Work with the Network Team to provide first line and second line support

 

· Software packaging and distribution

 

· Management of the school’s ticketing system

 

· Management and maintenance of the school’s backup systems

 

Experience with Mac networks, SIMS and VMWare systems would be an advantage.

The person appointed may not necessarily be familiar with all the areas listed above, but a willingness to learn and be proactive is required.
