sted Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 im trying to setup azure ad connect on a test domain/365 tenancy but im getting this message when i run the adconnect wizzard users will not be able to sign-in azure ad using their on premises credentials i assume thats to do with it showing 2 domain names the actual ad domain name ad.school.co.uk and the suffix i added to match the office365 tenancy of school.co.uk and its just complaining about users in ad.school any ideas
Jawloms Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 When looking at a users credentials in AD, what do they have on the "Account" tab in the drop down box next to their "User logon name:"? Is it correct in there? Stuart
sted Posted May 10, 2018 Author Posted May 10, 2018 you mean in the user properties here? then yes the test users (i havnt touched the default administrator etc (its literally a blank domain at this point user wise i have the default users and 3 "teachers". all 3 teachers are set to school.co.uk as their suffix admin etc are default on ad.school.co.uk
sted Posted May 10, 2018 Author Posted May 10, 2018 i just pushed through the wizzard and ignored the message. it looks like it was related to the ad.domain thats the real domain but that im not using in office 365 as my test use can login to office 365 (once i assigned a lic)with the password i assigned them in ad and they diddnt exist prior in office 365
