Google's Be Internet Legends - free internet safety resource

Google’s Be Internet Legends curriculum is a free internet safety educational resource for pupils aged 7-11.

 

Created by Google and Parent Zone, it includes PSHE accredited lesson plans and activities delivering internet safety messages. With an interactive game to reinforce learning, the Be Internet Legends programme provides a complete internet safety resource for your school.

 

Google teamed up with the educators and online safety experts at Parent Zone to create the Be Internet Legends programme which includes PSHE association accredited lesson plans, teaching resources, an online adventure game – Interland and a touring assembly roadshow.

 

Be Internet Legends focuses on five key online safety pillars:

 

– Be Internet Sharp – Think Before You Share

– Be Internet Alert – Check it’s For Real

– Be Internet Secure – Protect Your Stuff

– Be Internet Kind – Respect Each Other

– Be Internet Brave – When in Doubt, Discuss
