Self Assigned IP

Hi all,

 

Just having an issue currently whereby our main wireless network will not offer a DHCP lease to a MacBook Pro. When it connects, it assigns a self assigned IP, yet it works on our free, open WiFi network, where Meraki handles DHCP instead of our Windows Server.

We're using Windows Server 2012 R2 and is working on all other devices. Just wondering if someone could suggest things to try. It is not in as a reservation or deny filter.

Sounds like your Windows DHCP server might not be issuing the IP quickly enough. We've seen something similar with Apple Macs on our DHCP systems.
