HP ML350 Gen8 G8 SSD options?

What options do I have for upgrading to SSDs in my Gen8? I read that it's very picky about what's allowed.

 

a) Will random server SSDs work?

b) If not, what about PCIe based SSDs, can you boot from them?

You should be able to use any drives you want, I can't see why you wouldn't be able too. The drives from HP directly are going to be expesnive as. Make sure you can make an Array with the new drives and you should be fine.

Those are drives that specifically support your server.
