snagrat Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 We have an issue with some old machine running Office 2016. Word, Excel and Powerpoint all crash as described here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2983468/possible-office-2016-and-2013-stability-issues-with-the-intel-video-dr However the chipsets we have - 946GZ and G35 - have the latest graphics drivers. Has anyone had this before and found a solution?
ShellfishClive Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 You could try reverting back to an earlier version instead of a later version, also are you 100% sure it's the Intel Driver crashing it?
snagrat Posted April 18, 2018 Author Posted April 18, 2018 Its the graphics driver that is logged as the faulting modules. The all seem to be the G35 chipsets. They are in Stone PCs so may see if a BIOS update is available
JackCPickup Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Tried disabled hardware acceleration in Office?
snagrat Posted April 18, 2018 Author Posted April 18, 2018 I rolled that out earlier and waiting on staff feedback
