[android tablet] Chrome OS Tablets

Hi All,

 

What do you think of this as a new augmented learning device for kids in schools;

I find it interesting as I've had clients asking for tablets running chrome OS, instead of Android (easier management and deployment using Chrome). And the built in stylus is neat too.

I do think products like this have potential to do amazing things in schools, and from an IT point of view they are so easy to setup and run.

 

I just feel like there isn't a finalized product out there yet that can make this fully viable. You can use these for certain subject or even a subject of a subject but there isn't anything there to keep them as a full time device, the novelty wears off pretty quick

 

I think they are a great idea though, they just need a bit more work.

2. No junk installed by the manufacturer. coff coff Samsung

3. 6.5 years of updates.

4. True multi user support.
