nsion Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 iSAMS Data Analyst (SQL / SSRS) – Hertfordshire £30,000 - £34,000 full time / permanent position plus extensive benefits (pension, lunch, free parking, 25 days hols’ + bank hols’) Closing date: Thursday 12th April 2018 Our client, an independent school on the western edge of Hertfordshire, are looking for an iSAMS Data Analyst to help support the day-to-day running of iSAMS, with a specific focus on the data and reporting side of the school’s MIS. The role require working closely with the MIS Manager and senior management team regarding the ongoing development of iSAMS to aid academic performance and the provision of solutions, services and technical support to academic and support staff. As the iSAMS Data Analyst, your main duties will include: · Maintaining, creating and managing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). · Data management and analysis as part of managing teaching sets, entrance examination results, timetabling and third party integrations. · Assisting the academic performance and academic tracking. · Responsibility for ensuring the integrity of the data within the system. · Creating and managing clear documentation. · Assisting the management/maintenance of user access, including staff and parents within the MIS. · Providing support and advice to academic and support staff across all sites on the use of the MIS. · Keeping up to date with technological developments, particularly in relation to other IT developments taking place within the school. · Help promote an active training program across the group to promote the use of iSAMS. To be considered for this role, you must have experience working with: · MS SQL Server · SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) · T-SQL · Data analysis and manipulation using various products such as Excel and Access The following knowledge is highly desirable: · Previous experience school MIS (ideally iSAMS) · Use of VBA / Macros to manipulate data · Scripting in Microsoft PowerShell · Experience of business analysis · Project management (or knowledge of the full project lifecycle) This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
