Zebra/Symbol LS2208 Barcode Scanner and CHROMEBOOKS

I'm looking at getting one of these:

It's nice and small to use for going around with our PAT testing and auditing kit. Just need to be able to access the URL of our web based asset management system and to be able to use our Symbol/Zebra LS2208 barcode scanner.

 

Will the barcode scanner work with this Chromebook (never used or seen one before) as in affect it's just a keyboard, right?
