talksr Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Hi there, Can anyone tell me where I can find the Group Policy settings for Windows 10 client stations on a 2012 Windows vanilla server to disable the sleep option from the shutdown button on the login screen?
ShellfishClive Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 I know a way to turn this off but it will also turn it off for the start menu as well. This article has it already explained probably better than I can: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/7b6a9da4-ad4b-45b9-a525-584c9ad70e81/group-policy-to-remove-hibernate-and-sleep-from-the-start-menu?forum=winserverGP I use the same method and it works perfectly. 1

ShellfishClive Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Let me know if it doesn't work and I will tell you my way of doing it and hopefully explain it for you.
