Resilient-cable USB mice

Can someone recommend me some USB wired mice with a strong USB cable? One of our little angels has taken to pulling the mouse cable clean off the mouse(!), and as we're a special school we can't really just ban said cherub from using the computers. I know some have the cable guard on the end, so something like this but beefier might do.

 

I've asked the folks at Haptic Networks to have a look for me, but thought someone here might be able to point me in the right direction.

Cheap wifi mouse, then attach it to the computer with a metal chain, also superglue in the batteries. Or implement, you know, behaviour policies.

Good point, but I can't guarantee that the student in question will always be using the same PC. And if I gave all the PCs wireless mice they'd get mixed up to the point that I'd never be able to figure out which went where...

 

The metal chain+wireless mouse could work if it becomes a massive problem. As for behaviour policies, these are students that in many cases find it very difficult to understand what is and isn't acceptable. They have members of staff with them at all times, but apparently this happened when said staff member's back was turned for about ten seconds...

One mouse ? I'd just cut the end off a USB cable and solder it on with a knot on the inside as strain relief.
