Budehaven_resources Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 (edited) Hey Geeks, Our Comcolor 7150 has this weird habit of printing PDF's twice. You'll send it a print job of 30 copies of an exam paper pdf. It will print it perfectly, then when the print run has ended an identical job will suddenly appear 15/20 seconds laterand it will run the job unprompted. Wondering if this is actually a PDF flattening issue. Anyone else experienced anything similar & fixed it. (These over print runs are costing us a small fortune) Running all the latest drivers and versions of Acrobat. Edited February 21, 2018 by Budehaven_resources
kearton Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Never seen this on ours. Is it only happening on 1 PDF or can you reproduce it with any others? Is the RISO running any embedded PaperCut or suchlike?
Budehaven_resources Posted February 21, 2018 Author Posted February 21, 2018 Sorry should have said. Using Papercut. problem has occurred multiple times on a wide range of PDF's, not just exam papers. Occasionally it re-compiles the document and prints a shed load of random pages too! Baffling. had the 1st Office Engineers out to the printer multiple times too. Firmware updated, etc etc
