Office 365 email encryption - plea for help!

From the outset I want to explain that I'm a School Business Manager, not a technical guru, so please be kind to me!

 

I'm trying to set up email encryption in Office 365, have done all the Azure stuff, set up the 'rule' so that if a subject header or message contain key words they're encrypted, etc, and so far all's gone well. However . . . I've encountered a problem. Obviously some of our emails to individual parents/carers need to be encrypted (e.g., it contains feedback on pupil progress) and in common with much of the population, many of our parents will be reading emails on a mobile device. This is where I've encountered the challenge! When testing it on emails from my work account to my personal account, I found that you can't tap on the link to obtain a passcode, go into subsequent email containing the passcode, then input the passcode into the original email - it just generates a new password, and you're then stuck in an eternal loop that threatens to drive you insane. I THOUGHT the solution was to download Microsoft's Message Encryption View app (for iPhone) . . . but that apparently only works with the native Mail app on the iPhone, not with the Gmail app that I use.

 

We can't really tell parents that they should only use their device's native Mail app, and I can't imagine it going down too well if we say "Yeah, you'll have to log in on a PC or laptop, it works fine there." Does anyone have any suggestions for a solution?
