Network Manager - Bedwas High School, Caerphilly, South Wales £23,364 - Closes 27/2

Bedwas High School is looking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Network Manager to join the schools management team.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience of supporting educational networks and be comfortable in providing day-to day technical support in a fast paced environment. They will be educated to Level 4 in a relevant qualification and have an excellent working knowledge of Windows client and infrastructure, preferably Office 365. They will also be able to demonstrate clear experience in managing and developing large IT installations (preferably Linux), and be comfortable in supporting print management (Papercut) and telephony systems.

The successful candidate will report to the Headteacher and work closely with the schools Senior Leadership Team. They will lead and direct the work of the ICT Technician/Apprentice and develop good working relationships with a variety of school staff. They will be directly responsible for supporting and promoting good practice in the use of IT within both the staff and student populations.

The successful candidate will need to share our commitment to providing a high-quality education for our students and support us in meeting the educational challenges facing our school.

The position is offered on a permanent basis working Term Time Only contract with an additional two weeks worked during school holidays to meet the needs of the role.

Salary range is SCP 29-33 on pro-rata contract of 90.033% equating to annual salary of £23,364 - £26,400.
