SIMS Detentions: Setup DT longer than one day.

Our detention policy makes use of periods of Isolation for the most serious of misbehaviour, falling short of exclusion. We set isolations of one day, two days and three days.

I was planning to record Isolation as a detention type, and set the default time to school start and school end! All goes well, until you try to setup the two and three day detentions, when SIMS does not offer a start and end date.

I then thought I would try setting three separate one day detentions, but it does not appear to be possible to link more than one detention to a behaviour incident.

Has anyone else wrestled with this problem and found a solution please?

Assuming you use NOVA-T then alternative curriculum has been used by some of our schools for this purpose.
