UltimateRed Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 So, basically I'm looking for a good home emergency insurance. I was thinking about startrescue's gold option (https://www.startrescue.co.uk/home-emergency-cover), price is about right, and I've heard some positive feedback about that one. However, I'm open to any suggestions.
denzal2k4 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Was sceptical of that one at first due to "£250 towards replacement of boiler" that's nothing for a replacement boiler cost, also toilet repair providing there isn't another toilet in the house but then at the bottom annual service of your boiler, which for me is about £80 anyway makes it probably worth while.
SpuffMonkey Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Personally - I think just putting an amount away every month into an instant access savings account is the best wat - then use it if you need or let it mount up - most financial advice sites agree that emergency insurance is a bit of a rip off
