Conditional Formatting

I have seen some recent threads on this but I believe the protocol is to not hijack a question thread so I guess it is best to post a new thread.

 

We have a tracking document that shows marksheet grades and brings the conditional formatted grades through , I believe, from the marksheets themselves which compare given marks with a set target grade, ie red - blow target, yellow - on target and green - above target.

 

A student who is targeted for an A* and achieves it get s yellow - I have a notion of changing the green to mean - "above target (or A*)".

 

I have two issues

 

1. I am not sure how to change this in the marksheets and

 

even more importantly

 

2. Is there a way of changing this for all marksheets or would it have to be done manually for each sheet? Typically we have 4 tracking marks per year and as many as 16 subjects in a year - and 7 year groups - so I am hoping there is some way it might be easily achieved...

You can do this from the Template level, not the marksheet.

but looking at your figures - changing at template level would still require 4 tracking marks x 16 subjects x 7 years worth of changes to formulae to make it work everywhere.
