CMIS DATA MANAGER (Permanent / Full-time)

Location; North London

Salary; £33,000 - £36,500

 

CMIS Data Manager is required for a large education establishment based in London. We are looking for an experienced MIS Manager with the ability to provide a strong strategic approach on the use and development of pupil data.

 

Key responsibilities;

To design a CMIS / Data Strategy which will reflect current and future requirements of my client. This includes providing direction on the undertaking of the efficient design, development and organisation of the CMIS Database.

 

Undertake thorough review of all data collection and reporting requirements and identify best practice reporting processes.

 

Attend directors meetings when required, to provide updates on the implementation of the CMIS / Data Strategy in relation to CMIS and analysis of key reports

 

Have overall responsibility for the maintenance of the CMIS database, with overall responsibility for ensuring a consistency of data inputted across the establishment

 

Be responsible for, and liaise with other members of staff in the completion of appropriate returns of information to statutory bodies

 

Regularly reviewing systems and procedures for the management of information

 

Investigating, as required, alternative approaches to the management of information

 

To lead and project manage any revisions to the MI System and procedures for the management of information

 

To advise and liaise with Serco Learning to develop Facility CMIS & ePortal

 

Applicants MUST possess a strong MIS background within an education establishment. Ideally you will have excellent working knowledge of CMIS, however my client will consider applicants with SIMS experience.
