Adding a Vanilla DC in a CC4 Enviroment

Hi,

 

I manage a CC4 network, we are looking to remove CC4 in Summer ‘18 but I want to add a new DC in the interim. I’ve got a couple of questions, I’m not a CC4 fan and not had much experience with a CC4 network before.

 

Can I install a new DC without having to install any of the CC4 bits?

Thanks for the info, hopefully it will only be up until the end of July when I'll be ripping out CC4.
