Lead MIS Officer / ILR and Audit (REMS, Unit-E, Maytas) - South Essex * URGENT *

Up to £35,250 plus benefits - Permanent / Full Time

 

Our client, a college in South Essex are looking to recruit a Lead MIS Officer (ILR and Audit) within the Managing Information Systems Team.

 

As the Lead MIS Officer, you will lead on producing data returns and ensuring the integrity of college data (Audit).

 

Your other main duties will include :

· Supporting the appropriate officers to develop all data entry procedures for the college student records and information system.

· Supporting the efficient working of the college including obtaining / sharing information and guidance on funding and data requirements.

· Applying knowledge gained to the data entered onto the College’s student records system, to maximise funding and success.

· Liaising with Internal and External Auditors.

· Keeping up to date with funding and data requirements.

· Recommending appropriate action to the Associate Director MIS & Registry.

 

 

As the ideal candidate, you will have :

 

· Previous experience of data management and reporting with practical, working knowledge of Further Education sector and ESFA funding requirements.

· Experience of PDSATs and data validation.

· Outstanding analytical skills, attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
