It's the same actually, although the Netflix version won't have any ad breaks.

TEOTFW (referred to as The End Of The F***ing World in UK advertisements and TV listings) is a dark comedy drama television series. The show is based on the comic series The End Of The World by Charles S. Forsman. The eight part series premiered on Channel 4 and All 4 in the United Kingdom on 24 October 2017. The series will be available as a Netflix Original internationally on 5 January 2018.

So Netflix are claiming it as a "Netflix Original" and launching it this week when it has already been shown on Channel 4 and was available on All4.

 

So basically Netflix have bought the risks to show it internationally I assume. Oh well I guess that makes their claim kind of valid if this modern world.
