Google Cloud Directory Sync Issue

I have a strange issue where I have a user in AD that is a member of an AlllStaff group. The AllStaff group has an email address and is synchronised to G Suite via GCDS but this user randomly gets removed from the group in G Suite. I can see that the user is still in the right AD group but I can also see in the GCDS logs and the G Suite Console Report that she gets removed. It doesn't happen to any other users.

 

Any ideas why GCDS would be doing this?

Do you mean the tick box before running the sync? If so, I always tick it if I do a manual sync.

The automated sync happends overnight, not sure if clearing the cache is part of that task.

 

I did a manual sync simulation just now after checking the user was in the right AD group but the result was the user being removed.
