Senior Information Systems Analyst – Oxfordshire ( URGENT )

Up to £50,000 + 25 days holidays + bank holidays, free school lunches and childcare scheme etc.

Our client, a prestigious Independent School in Oxfordshire require a Senior Information Systems Analyst to join their existing team. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will manage the Strategy, Leadership, Service / Operational / Project and Change Management of the Information Systems within the School.

 

As the post-holder, you will be responsible for rationalizing and consolidating the current catalogue of software developments, assessing existing 3^rd party applications, ensuring a fit for purpose deployment of Information Systems, advising on emerging technologies and developing a reporting system to provide visibility of planned IS developments, priorities and progress.

 

 

Main Responsibilities :

 

· Supporting IS strategy throughout the creation of an annual IS Development Plan.

· Ensuring high quality service delivery and support across the IS portfolio.

· Managing the IS relationships with staff and SLT, as well as working alongside the IT Team.

· Maintaining a full map of IS applications, interfaces and external support arrangements.

· Project management and delivery of IS projects including planning, risk and issues management.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have :

 

· Extensive experience managing MIS, ideally within a school.

· Project Management experience, including programme /project management toolsets.

· SQL/DBA/data management and report writing/development.

· Change Management frameworks.

· Experience integrating web-based technologies with MIS.

· Knowledge of ASP, PHP, IIS or similar web environments and development languages.

· Demonstrable IS change management, service management and customer management skills.

· Practical and Technical knowledge on the integration of web-based technologies with MIS.
