manick Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Hi all, I have three hosts in a cluster running vmware v6. I've just noticed on one of them has the following errors: "The vfat filesystem mpx.vmhba32........is full" followed by "Issue detected on failed to create state.tgz" The esxi is run off an SD card. I've checked the amount of space on the partition on the card and it is only utilising 75% of it. I've carried out Google searches but cannot find anything that looks relevant to this. Has anybody else had this experience before or have an idea as to how to correct this issue? Ta Nick
SpaceInvader83 Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Have you checked if the tmp volume is full? I had an issue with a log file called mili2d.log filling my tmp up, clearing this fixed it short term, it's a broadcom nic issue i believe. vdf -h (Shows free space on virtual disks) ls -la /tmp will show you the content of the directory. >mili2d.log (Clear log)
