Sheridan Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 I seem to have this recurring problem with Applocker Packaged App Rules - it was working, then started crashing, then working and now back to crashing again! It seems to happen when clicking the 'Select' button to choose an app when creating a new rule - you either get an MMC crash or it simply hangs. I've never found out what breaks or fixes it?
Spangle Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Sorry to bump this old thread but this has been a headache of mine for some time. Up until now i have tripped the APPS out of the custom wim before deployment. I have now had some success running the GPMC on a windows 10 VM. This does not crash when referencing apps installed. Having been banging my head on this one for ages i wanted to get it out there for others to see.
Sheridan Posted September 28, 2018 Author Posted September 28, 2018 I still have the same issue and gave up trying to fix it, I can do it when using GPMC on Server 2016 though, but the apps list isn't the same as W10!
