We are looking for an experienced IT professional to join our School Support & Infrastructure Team. The focus of this team is on delivering specialist expertise to the GDST across a broad range of technologies and providing 3rd line support to schools.

 

The School Support & Infrastructure Team consists of four School Technical Specialists, a Network & Communications Manager and a Support Technician. You will also be expected to manage relationships with school staff and 3rd party suppliers.

Each Technical School Specialist is assigned a cluster of schools to work with and acts as the escalation point for any technical issues. Building relationships with the schools is key to the role to ensure the best level of support can be offered whilst allowing the schools to develop their individual IT strategies. Technical School Specialists may also have areas of expertise, which may be called upon by other members of the wider ITS Team.

 

We have a wide technical platform, with schools invested in Apple, Google, and Microsoft technologies; you will need to be agnostic to them all. Previous experience of working in education is desirable, but not essential.
