Eclipse.net MLS Email settings

So after resolving our little hiccup with HTML and silverlight i'm trying to get the OnPrem eclipse server to send students emails about overdues.

 

We use Office365 so as far as i know i should have the following under Settings > general > settings tab >

Smtp email address: specific service email account

Smtp email host name: smtp.office365.com:587

Smtp host username: specific service email address

Smtp Host password: the password of this service email address

 

When these are configured and check the logs at Database > logs > audit log i see notes:

Eclipse SL.MAN SMTP email system.net.mail.smtpexception: The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was.not authenticated. The server response was 5.7.57 SMTP; client was not authenticated to send anonymous mail during MAIL FROM....

 

This was reported at 20:42 but since been trying and nothing is showing in the logs.
