Google Stream Security

So, some people think the cloud is the best thing since sliced bread for many a reasons.

 

I've just installed and setup Google File Stream, which great we get 1.0EB of data storage! More than i'll ever need in a lifetime.

 

However, it appears that any kind of file can be saved to it. autorun.inf executable files etc

 

With local file access FSRM can be used to block these types of files.

 

I'd like to know how secure all this cloud file access really is, and how file management can be restricted with file types.

I don't use FSRM anyway, it can't control USB drives. You can set group policy restrictions to only allow .exe files from approved locations such as the C Drive.
